Elizabeth Richards is a Director, Legal Counsel and the Chief Compliance Officer of Lexington Partners primarily engaged in overseeing legal and regulatory matters and developing and administering the firm’s global compliance program.

Prior to joining Lexington in 2019, Ms. Richards was a Partner with Kirkland & Ellis LLP, focusing on a wide range of legal, regulatory and compliance matters for private investment funds. Prior to that, she was corporate counsel at American Century Investments in Kansas City.

Ms. Richards graduated from Yale University with a BA in history and from Georgetown University Law Center with a JD (Honors).
