Jasjit Bhattal was named a Lexington Senior Advisor focusing on the Asia-Pacific region in 2013. Mr. Bhattal, currently a Senior Advisor with Lazard, was formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of Nomura’s Global Wholesale Division and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lehman Brothers Asia. As President and CEO of Nomura’s Global Wholesale Division, Mr. Bhattal was responsible for global markets, investment banking, and other non-retail businesses in Japan, Asia-Pacific, EMEA, and the Americas. Prior to joining Nomura, he was Chairman and CEO of Lehman Brothers Asia and a member of Lehman Brothers’ executive committee.

Mr. Bhattal is a Rhodes Scholar with an Honors degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford University, and a Waynflete Fellow At Magdalen College, Oxford. He earned his undergraduate degree with honors from St. Stephen’s College in New Delhi.
